With her new album ICU RUN, Camilla Sparksss returns to her signature abrasive style following recent experimentations with lullabies. The record is an eclectic fusion of electro-punk, synthpop, industrial, and techno, combining aggressive 90s-style beats with glitch effects and oriental motifs. The album is characterized by a heavy, dark atmosphere stemming from the artist's personal tragedy, as the music was composed while her father was in intensive care. This emotional burden permeates the entire work, culminating in the final composition, which reflects the bitterness of loss through a hardcore sound.
